Intelligent Engineering builds high-quality chassis and trailers for the caravan industry, right here in Epping. We're a busy production shop with a steady pipeline of work, and we're looking for reliable MIG welders and boilermakers to join the team.

This is steady, well-paid work with a finish time that gets you home early and plenty of overtime on offer.

What the job actually is
n
This is production welding on a structured flow line — not one-off custom fabrication. You'll be MIG welding chassis and components to a consistent standard, day in, day out. If you take pride in laying clean, sound welds and like a transparent, repeatable process, you'll do well here.

We've deliberately built our process so you don't need decades of fabrication behind you to produce excellent work. If you can run a quality MIG weld and follow a process, we'll teach you the rest.

What you'll be doing

MIG welding chassis and components to spec on our production line
n
Reading and following technical drawings, jigs, and work instructions
n
Checking your own work to make sure every weld is sound
n
Operating welding gear safely and keeping your bay tidy
n
Working with the team to hit daily production targets
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Solid, consistent MIG welding skills — this is the main thing
n
The ability to read basic technical drawings (or the willingness to learn)
n
A reliable, safety-minded approach and valuable attendance
n
Someone who's happy with structured production work and steady output
n
n
A trade qualification or boilermaker ticket is a bonus and will be well regarded, but it's not essential. We're more interested in a good welder we can train on our process than a long résumé.
