CJD Equipment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mobile Plant Mechanic to fill the role of WorkshopTechnician in our Smeaton Grange Workshop in beautiful NSW.

Working with world-class products such as Volvo Construction Equipment, this busy role provides you with the chance to build and develop your skills whilst being part of a large service department.
n
You will need to be able to demonstrate advanced diagnostic, technical, and communication skills to be successful in this role!
n
A day on the job will see you:
n
n
Carry out diagnosis and troubleshooting procedures relating to mechanical failures in a skilled and timely manner
n
Daily reporting and communication of work conducted
n
Following warranty procedures
n
Providing excellent customer service to our valued clients
n
n
What you need to get the job done:
n
n
Commitment to safety in the workplace for yourself and work colleagues
n
Construction equipment technical knowledge, with the ability to carry out servicing within the workshop
n
MR or HV truck and forklift licence (desirable)
n
All-rounder who is willing and able to work independently and help support our apprentices
n
Ability to communicate with a wide variety of customers, professionally and respectfully
n
Able to write reports and keep daily records of work
n
Experience using computer-based service diagnostic programs and parts catalogues
n
