About the Role
Whitehaven Coal | Blackwater seeks an experienced Warehouse Superintendent.
This key leadership role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of warehousing on site. This critical role ensures Inventory availability / accuracy, and supply chain reliability.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead the warehouse team and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the warehouse team to deliver secure and efficient operations
Oversee inventory management including stock accuracy and reconciliations
Ensure availability of materials to support maintenance and operational requirements
Ensure compliance with safety, site standards, and statutory requirements
Provide reporting on inventory and cost optimisation
What You Will Bring
Extensive experience in warehouse or supply chain operations with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory / superintendent role
Experience managing warehousing teams in mining, heavy industry, or a similar
Strong knowledge of warehouse safety, inventory management, and materials handling procedures
Proficiency in inventory and materials systems (eg SAP)
