About the role
n
Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for anEnrolled Nurseto join our new public surgical ward in this permanent, part-time position working 32hrs per week. This opportunity requires flexibility to work across all shift types over a seven-day roster. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 12 months' clinical experience, along with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Based at our Springfield campus, these roles are a part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield — which opened early ****. As Mater's first new public hospital in over 60 years, this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With a mix of public and private beds across ICU, maternity, emergency and medical, surgical services, it's set to care for over 200,000 patients annually.

Salary range: $***** - $***** per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+ access to many staff benefits!

What you'll be doing
n
As an Enrolled Nurse you will provide patient-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty.
n
n
Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care while acting as patient advocate
n
Demonstrating clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients during perioperative journey
n
Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
n
Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
n
n
About you
n
You will enjoy working in a busy and rewarding setting where you can become part of a team of professionals who take pride in providing the highest levels of patient care. You will have recent Clinical experience in Anaesthetics, Scrub/Scout or day surgery.
n

Have current registration with AHPRA with no notations
n
Demonstrated experience in general surgical and orthopaedic specialties highly regarded
n
Ability to work in an ever-changing and fast paced environment
n
Be able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and recognise priority tasks
n
Work within a multi-disciplinary team environment with a focus on exceptional patient-centred care and customer service
n
Digital and computer proficiency
n
You must participate in a 24/7 roster (including weekends)
n
