About the Role
n
As a Room Leader at The Grove Academy, you'll take on a leadership role in creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment for children and educators. You'll guide and mentor your team, ensuring exceptional care and education for every child.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Leading the delivery of innovative, fun and milestone aligned programs
n
Mentoring and supporting educators in their professional growth
n
Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and your team
n
Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
n
Observing, documenting, and supporting children's development
n
Ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of all children is prioritised at all times
n
Actively supervising children and maintaining awareness of risks in the environment
n
Reporting any concerns or incidents in line with service policies and procedures
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
A Bachelor or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
Proven experience leading a room and mentoring educators
n
Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and child development
n
Exceptional leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
n
A positive attitude and love for creating memorable experiences
n
Strong understanding of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting
n
Ability to identify and respond to risks to children's safety
n
Completed the Foundations of Child Safety training (or willing to complete prior to commencement).
n
Successful applicants will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
