We are looking for an experienced Senior Halal Butcher to lead and grow the meat department within one of our established fresh food supermarkets in Melbourne's western suburbs.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to build a successful department rather than simply work behind the counter.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cut beef, lamb and chicken
n
Maintain an attractive fresh meat display
n
Manage daily ordering and stock levels
n
Control waste and maximise gross profit
n
Supervise and train butcher assistants
n
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
n
Help grow weekly sales and department performance
n
