The Role
n
Established Smithfield precast manufacturer seeking a Precast Design Manager to lead our design and drafting team. You will run the design process end to end - from Contract Award through to issued-for-construction shop drawings for residential, commercial and industrial projects across NSW and ACT.

Reporting directly to the N.S.W Design Manager.
n
What You'll Do
n
n
Lead, check and mentor the design and drafting team.
n
Manage design from tender review through to construction/ production release.
n
Approve panel layouts, connections, lifting and bracing details.
n
Ensure compliance with AS ****, AS **** and the NCC.
n
Coordinate with engineers, architects, builders, services and temporary works certifiers.
n
Control drawing registers, revisions and RFIs.
n
Make sure drawings suit what our factory can actually build.




n
Support site teams through delivery and erection.
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
Strong knowledge of AS **** and AS ****.
n
Skills in 3D Modelling (Revit and Tekla).
n
Ability to lead a team and hit deadlines.
n
Experience in Office 365..
n
Assist with introducing AI solutions to streamline Job process.
