DTMA Lee is a locally owned and operated agricultural contracting business based in regional Victoria, specialising in dairy farm operations and support services. The successful applicant will be a motivated, driven and skilled Dairy Cattle Farm Operator who is able to work autonomously and take direction well.

Operate milking plant and equipment;
n
Identify and report equipment not operating normally;
n
Work co-operatively as part of a team;
n
Read and record instrument information i.e.



Milk vat temperatures and cow numbers; and understands the principles of protected working;
n
Undertake multiple functions, produce a quality outcome e.g. Farm machinery;
n
Maintain machinery, undertake adjustments and size changes;
n
Solve problems and make decisions within given guidelines;
n
Know general scientific terminology and assist with processes such as machine repair, artificial insemination, fertiliser mix design etc.;
n
Operate standard measuring equipment;
n
Operate computerised systems using menu options;
n
Contribute to the team in a specific role, providing input and assisting other team members; and
n
Work at times without supervision.

to be successful for this position the applicant will ideally hold the following Skill Level:

n

AQF Certificate II or III (or equivalent) and relevant experience.
n
a minimum of 1 years work experience in the field,
