We are on the lookout for energetic Commis Chefs to join our team. You will work alongside a passionate kitchen brigade to deliver exceptional guest service and experiences.

Our restaurant is a hatted venue, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner within a nature inspired setting.

Responsibilities:

n

n
Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with recipes, presentation and hotel standards.
n
Assist senior chefs with daily mise en place and service preparation.
n
Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner during busy service periods.
n
Uphold the hotel's sustainability initiatives by reducing food waste and using ingredients responsibly.
n
Follow all hygiene, HACCAP and workplace health and safety standards
n
Demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn and a passion for culinary excellence.
n

Qualifications:

n

n
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
n
Passion for food, creativity and continuous learning
n




Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
Ability to follow recipes and instructions
n
Robust attention to detail
n
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
n
Certificate III in commercial cookery preferred.
