About the role

As a Mechanical Trainer, you will deliver training aligned with relevant training packages, ensuring learners develop robust technical skills, industry knowledge, and safe work practices required in mechanical trades.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Deliver face-to-face and/or online mechanical training and assessment
n
Assess student competency in accordance with training package requirements
n
Develop and maintain training and assessment materials
n
Ensure compliance with RTO and regulatory standards
n
Support and mentor apprentices and adult learners
n
n
About you
n
n
Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline (e.g. Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Automotive or similar)
n
Current and relevant industry experience
n
Training and Assessment qualification (TAE40122 or equivalent)
n
Robust technical and practical skills
n
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Experience delivering training within an RTO or TAFE
n
Experience working with apprentices
n
Strong understanding of WHS and safety standards
n
n
