Based in Cloncurry, this Council-operated Early Learning Centre is entering an exciting new chapter, with a brand-new purpose-built service due for completion at the end of ****. As Assistant Director, you'll work alongside the Director to support the day-to-day operations of the service, lead and mentor educators, and help shape the future of early childhood education in the community.

$100,000-$110,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) plus superannuation

About the Role
n
As the Assistant Director, you'll work in partnership with the Director to ensure the smooth operation of the service while fostering a positive, collaborative culture for educators, children and families.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Supporting the day-to-day management of the service
n
Leading,



mentoring and inspiring a team of educators
n
Supporting curriculum planning and quality educational programs
n
Building solid relationships with children, families and the wider community
n
Maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation
n
Contributing to continuous improvement and quality outcomes across the service
n
Assisting with administrative and operational responsibilities
n
n
About You
n
You'll be an experienced early childhood professional who enjoys leading by example and supporting others to thrive.
n
To be successful, you'll have:
n
n
An ACECQA-approved Diploma or Early Childhood teaching qualification
n
Experience in a leadership or senior educator role within an early learning service
n
Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Early Years Learning Framework
n
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
n
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality outcomes for children and families
n
Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
n
