About the role
n
As an Occupational Therapist with the Redcliffe Adult Mental Health Team (RAMHT), you will play a vital role in supporting adults experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges to achieve meaningful recovery and improve their quality of life. Working within a multidisciplinary community mental health team, you will deliver evidence-based, recovery-oriented and trauma-informed occupational therapy services that focus on promoting independence, functional capacity and participation in everyday life. You will undertake comprehensive assessments, develop team-oriented care plans and provide interventions tailored to the unique needs of consumers.

About you

Deliver competent-level occupational therapy clinical services to consumers with complex mental health needs within a multidisciplinary team,in accordance withprofessional practice, ethical, and mental health standards to ensure
culturallyappropriate,
consumer-focused outcomes.
n
Undertake comprehensive assessments (including biopsychosocial, risk, and discipline-specific assessments) to inform formulation and care planning.
n
Activelyparticipatein
the multidisciplinary team by
providingoccupational
therapyspecific clinical advice and education, and by contributing to the development ofcareplans anddischarge planningto
achieveoptimaloutcomes
for consumers.

Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes withintheclinical service area and
activelyparticipatein
quality and service improvement / research activities that enhance the delivery of clinical services and support achievement of key performance indicators.
n
Provide clinical practice supervision and education to undergraduate and postgraduate occupational therapy students, and less experienced Occupational Therapists to ensure maintenance of professional clinical standards within the service.
