An opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Development Manager to join a leading masterplanned community developer.
n
This is a leadership role where you'll oversee a small team of Development Managers while playing a key part in the delivery of a large-scale, multi-stage community. The project is well established, with significant delivery already complete and several hundred lots still to be delivered over the coming years.
n
You'll work across all aspects of project delivery, supporting your team through complex technical challenges while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The Role
n
Reporting into the Development leadership team, you will:
n
n
Lead, mentor, and support a team of Development Managers.
n
Oversee the delivery of multiple stages of a large residential masterplanned community.
n
Manage complex development and delivery issues, particularly around servicing, remediation, and contaminated land.
n
Coordinate planning, approvals, procurement, and construction activities.
n
Manage contractor performance and oversee the delivery of civil infrastructure.
n
Drive the delivery of roads, utilities, landscaping, parks,



and other public domain works.
n
Work closely with internal stakeholders to support the successful release and sale of residential land.
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for an experienced development professional who combines robust technical capability with proven leadership skills.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
Extensive experience delivering residential land subdivision or masterplanned community project as either a SDM, or a Development Manager or Senior Project Manager ready to step up in to an SMD role.
n
A background in civil engineering, civil infrastructure, or a related technical discipline.
n
Previous experience leading or mentoring development or project teams.
n
Strong knowledge of project delivery, approvals, contractor management, and civil construction.
n
Experience managing complex servicing, remediation, and contaminated land issues.
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
