An established developer-builder is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join the delivery team on a $40M integrated healthcare and commercial development based in Gosford.
n
Currently in the structural phase, this is a fantastic prospect to work alongside an experienced Site Manager and Project Manager on a technically challenging multi-storey concrete project, with a business that has a strong pipeline of work across healthcare, education and commercial developments.

The Role
n
Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with the day-to-day running of site operations.
n
Coordinate subcontractors and manage daily work activities.
n
Drive productivity and ensure works are progressing in line with programme.
n
Monitor quality and ensure works are completed to specification.
n
Maintain a secure work environment and promote a positive safety culture.
n
Liaise with supervisors, engineers and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
n
Assist with site inspections, defect management and project handover.
n

About You
n
To be successful, you'll demonstrate:
n
n
Previous experience as a Leading Hand on commercial, residential, education or healthcare projects.
n
Trade-qualified background preferred.
n
Strong understanding of concrete structures and general building methodology.
n
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
n
Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain programme.
n
A proactive, hands-on approach with a robust work ethic.
n
