We're looking for an experienced
HR Truck Driver (Leading Hand)
to join our team and take on a key role in the day‐to‐day operations. If you're a reliable operator with strong leadership skills and a hands‐on attitude, this is a excellent opportunity to step up and make an impact. This role will commence 14/09/26.
About the Role
As the Leading Hand, you'll support the QLD Operations Supervisor by assisting with overseeing daily truck movements, ensuring safety and compliance, and helping guide a small team of drivers. You'll still be behind the wheel, but you'll also play a big part in keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Operate HR vehicles safely and efficiently
Lead, support and mentor a team of drivers
Coordinate daily runs,



deliveries and schedules
Conduct pre‐start checks and ensure fleet compliance
Assist with loading/unloading when required
Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records
Promote a strong safety culture across the team
What We're Looking For
Current
HR licence
Previous Leading Hand or team‐leader experience (preferred)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Good knowledge of load restraint and safety procedures
Physically fit and reliable
