Senior Project Manager – Technology Delivery & Governance

Adelaide Initial 4-month contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a specialist technology consultancy delivering a fast-paced government technology program.
n
This is a governance-heavy delivery role requiring a mature Project Manager who can bring structure, visibility and control across four concurrent workstreams. You will oversee an eight-sprint build and UAT phase while a separate hypercare stream continues in parallel.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Managing four multidisciplinary delivery teams.
n
Establishing and maintaining a solid project-governance framework.
n
Producing high-quality governance artefacts and executive reports.
n
Managing budgets, forecasts and financial traceability.
n
Maintaining clear traceability between requirements, scope, outputs and delivery.
n
Managing RAID registers, dependencies, change control and project schedules.
n
Preparing steering-committee and client reporting.
n
Working closely with the client Project Manager and senior stakeholders.
n
Coordinating resourcing requirements with consultancy leadership.
n
Driving the project through build, UAT,



transition and close-out.
n
Keeping delivery on schedule within a complex stakeholder environment.
n

About you:
n
n
Senior Project Manager with strong technology or ICT delivery experience.
n
Demonstrated strength in project governance, financial control and reporting.
n
Experience managing multiple teams or concurrent workstreams.
n
Confident operating within government, consulting or another regulated environment.
n
Strong Agile delivery experience combined with formal governance disciplines.
n
PRINCE2 certification preferred; PMP will also be considered.
n
Australian citizenship is mandatory.
n
Willingness to complete a police check.
n
Based in Adelaide and available to commence at short notice.
n

Contract details:

Initial term through to the end of November, with likely extension.
