We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to lead the people function across a growing franchise network based in North Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to influence culture, support business growth, and provide hands‐on HR leadership across both corporate and franchised operations.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the General Manager - People you'll partner closely with franchisees and support office teams to deliver practical and commercially focused people solutions.
n
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping culture, supporting workforce growth, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and industry awards.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Drive People & Culture initiatives that support business growth and performance.
n
Foster a positive, values-led and high-performing workplace culture.
n
Lead employee engagement, recognition and retention initiatives.
n
Coach and support operational leaders to build their people leadership capability.
n
Employee Relations & Compliance
n
Provide expert advice on Australian employment legislation and workplace relations.
n
Manage employee relations matters including investigations, grievances, misconduct and performance concerns.
n
Support compliance with the Fair Work Act, NES and relevant Modern Awards.
n
Partner with franchisees and leaders to ensure best-practice people management.
n
Maintain HR systems, reporting and workforce data.
n
Analyse key people metrics including turnover, engagement and recruitment trends.
n

About You
n
You'll be a proactive and approachable HR leader who can balance commercial outcomes with people-focused solutions.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
Experience in HR, Employee Relations or People & Culture leadership roles
n
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work legislation and Modern Awards
n
Experience managing employee relations matters and workplace investigations
n
Background in hospitality, QSR, retail, franchise or multi-site operations highly regarded
n
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
n
Experience working with HRIS and workforce management systems
n
Excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving abilities
n
