This full-time Gel Coat/Chopper Gun Operator position at Century Pools Pty Ltd in North Tivoli, QLD **** is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in the pool and spa industry. As a Gel Coat/Chopper Gun Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production and finishing of high-quality fibreglass pools and spas.

What you'll be doing
n
Preparing and applying gel coat to mould surfaces using a chopper gun
n
Chopping and spraying fibreglass reinforcement materials onto prepared mould surfaces
n
Ensuring the correct application of gel coat and fibreglass materials to meet quality standards
n
Maintaining equipment and work area cleanliness to support productive and safe production
n
Collaborating with the production team to meet daily output and quality targets
n
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and productivity
n
What we're looking for
n
Demonstrated experience as a Gel Coat/Chopper Gun Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
n
Proficiency in the safe and efficient use of chopper guns and other related equipment
n
Ability to read and interpret production specifications and technical drawings
n




Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
n
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the production team
n
A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
