This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistant with a current Dogman ticket to join a professional team supporting mechanical fitters, pipe fitters and rigging crews on large-scale industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist mechanical fitters, pipe fitters and rigging crews on site
Perform dogging duties during crane lifts and material movements
Support mechanical installation, bolt-up and flange assembly work
Set up tools, equipment and maintain safe work areas
Follow all site safety procedures and assist with general labouring duties

What You'll Bring
Current Dogman Ticket (essential)
Industrial or mechanical Trade Assistant experience
White Card, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Highly Regarded
Basic or Intermediate Rigging ticket
Experience in refineries, oil & gas or heavy industrial maintenance
Mechanical shutdown experience
EWP or Forklift licence
Experience working around mechanical or piping crews
Salary & Benefits
$45–$55 per hour depending on experience
Overtime and penalty rates available
Ongoing work on major industrial projects
Work alongside experienced mechanical trades and rigging crews
