We are currently supporting a US-headquartered design, engineering and construction management firm with its expansion across Australia.

The business is looking to appoint a Construction Manager with experience delivering data centre, mission-critical or technically complex construction projects.
n
The successful candidate will take responsibility for in office delivery, contractor coordination, programme management, quality and safety throughout the construction phase.
n
Key responsibilities:
n
n
Manage day-to-day construction activities across major project workstreams
n
Coordinate principal contractors, subcontractors, consultants and vendors
n
Monitor project schedules, construction progress and key milestones
n
Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with design requirements
n
Review construction documentation, method statements and installation plans
n
Lead site meetings and communicate progress to project stakeholders
n
Identify and resolve construction, design and sequencing issues
n
Support quality inspections, testing,
commissioning and project close-out
n
Maintain accurate reporting across programme, risk, cost and delivery performance
n
n
What we are looking for:
n
n
Construction management experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities or complex commercial projects
n
Solid understanding of MEP-intensive construction settings
n
Experience managing contractors, site teams and multiple project stakeholders
n
Ability to interpret construction drawings, programmes and technical documentation
n
Strong knowledge of site safety, quality assurance and construction sequencing
n
Confident communication and leadership skills
n
A relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, building or a related discipline
n
n
