Our Chartered Accounting practice works with a diverse client base, including individuals, families, business owners, and self-managed superannuation funds.

About the role

We have an chance for a Junior/Graduate Accountant to join us and are seeking a bright, dedicated and enthusiastic individual ready to advance their professional career within a supportive environment.

Skills and attributes

n

n
1–2 years' experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm
n
A Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce or equivalent qualification
n
Commenced or intends to commence CPA or CA studies
n
Solid attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate with clarity and fluency
n
The ability to work both independently and as part of a cooperative team
n
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
n




Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
n
Must be legally able to work in Australia
n

Duties

n

n
Preparation of financial statements for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Superannuation Funds and Individuals
n
Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns, Business & Instalment Activity Statements
n
General accounting and bookkeeping
n
Liaison with the ATO, State Revenue Office and other authorities
n
Direct communication with clients
n
