Salary:
$78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification.
POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
Role Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Humanities and History lessons across Years 7-12 aligned to the Victorian Curriculum and VCAA requirements
Foster critical thinking, inquiry-based learning and historical understanding across junior, middle and senior year levels
Support students through VCE History and Humanities pathways with confidence and subject expertise
Maintain accurate student records, assessments and reporting in line with college and Department of Education requirements
Collaborate with faculty colleagues on Humanities and History curriculum planning, moderation and professional learning
Contribute to the broader school community through pastoral care and co-curricular engagement
About You
You're a qualified teacher who:
Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent qualified references
Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
