All programs are supervised by a multi-disciplinary and expert team of psychiatrists, psychologists, general practitioners, registered nurses, psychotherapist and counsellors.
Key objectives of role:
We are recruiting for a Full Time Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (IITAP) to join our Inpatient Program Therapy team as a Primary Therapist.
Facilitate daily trauma-informed group therapy for clients presenting with addictive processes and co-occurring mental health issues
Deliver trauma-informed therapeutic interventions that address underlying psychological, relational, attachment, and trauma-related factors contributing to compulsive sexual behaviours
Facilitate lectures, groups and workshops as per program schedule
Provide comprehensive and professional trauma-informed case management to a delegated case-load of inpatient clients
Support a positive treatment experience for all clients by role modelling functional adult behaviour
Extensive training will be provided for suitable applicant
Essential Criteria:
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Counselling or Graduate Diploma in Counselling / Psychotherapy




Qualified credential granted by the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP)for licensed mental health clinicians specialising in compulsive sexual behaviours
Minimum of 2 years' relevant group therapy facilitation
Registered with an appropriate Counselling/Psychotherapy/Psychology body
Experience and understanding of addiction
Experience in trauma-informed practice and delivery
Excellent communication skills
Independent worker with a team focus
NSW National Police Check
CPR Certificate
Desirable Criteria:
12 Step knowledge and/or lived experience
