Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, practical and detail-focused Groundskeeper / Property Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep of a private residence in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs. This role would suit someone who takes pride in presentation, enjoys hands-on work and is confident completing general outdoor maintenance, light repairs and day-to-day property support tasks.

Key responsibilities include
n
Sweep and blow leaves and keep external areas tidy and well presented.
n
Wash down concrete areas, driveways and hard surfaces as required.
n
Mop and maintain garage areas.
n
Complete general external cleaning, including window washing from time to time.
n
Assist with minor household support tasks when required.
n
Coordinate or assist other trades attending the property.
n
Run local errands, including drop-off and pick-up tasks when needed.
n
Refuel and wash vehicles as required.
n
Complete minor fixes, light repairs, appliance installation support, troubleshooting and general maintenance when items break or need attention.
n
About you
n
You will be someone who is reliable, trustworthy and comfortable working respectfully in a private home environment.



You will have strong attention to detail, practical handyman or maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently while using good judgement.

You will also be confident identifying when something needs attention, completing light repairs where appropriate, and communicating clearly when additional support or trade assistance is required.

Requirements
n
Current Victorian Driver Licence.
n
Current Working with Children Check.
n
Previous handyman, groundskeeping, property maintenance or similar experience.
n
Ability to safely complete physical, hands-on duties associated with property maintenance.
n
