Job Description
Experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support operational teams in managing critical risks, improving safety performance and driving continuous improvement.

This is an prospect to work with Rio Tinto on their Gove operations for a 3 month contract.
n
Flights and accomodation will be provided and the roster is flexible with options provided.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Coach and influence leaders, contractors and frontline teams on critical risk management.
n
Facilitate incident reviews and risk management workshops.
n
Lead incident investigations using Essential Factors and/or TapRoot methodologies.
n
Analyse safety trends and implement practical improvement initiatives.
n
Provide guidance on risk management systems and assurance activities.
n
Partner with contractors to ensure alignment with Rio Tinto safety standards.
n

About You
n
n




Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety or similar.
n
Experience in a Health & Safety role within mining, resources or heavy industry.
n
Strong understanding of critical risk management and assurance frameworks.
n
Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
n
Experience leading investigations and presenting outcomes to senior leaders.
n
