An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the afternoon shift team at the Opal Athol Park team reporting to the Engineering Manager.
n
Our site is based in the western suburbs of Adelaide, only 15 minutes from the city and 10 minutes to the coast. We are a small Engineering team who are skilled and passionate about what we do. We offer a challenge and an environment to grow and develop. We offer flexibility and weekend work is an option. An afternoon shift loading of 20% applies.

The role will be responsible for:
n
n
Preventative and breakdown maintenance across the plant in a protected,



cost effective and efficient manner
n
Maintenance planning
n
Contribute to the health and safety of the plant
n
Contribute ideas for continuous improvement
n
Supervise apprentices as required.
n
n

We would like for the successful candidate to have:
n
n
Trade qualified fitter or equivalent qualification
n
Knowledge & experience in safe working
practices/procedures
n
Previous Manufacturing Fitter experience
n
Ability to understand technical drawings.
n
Competent computer skills
n
Reliable, self-motivated and able to work unsupervised in a team environment
n
Team Player, trustworthy and great work ethic
n
Motivated and a quick learner
n
