Job Description

Gareth Keenan Catering is seeking an experienced Catering Chef Off Site Catering to join our team in Ashmore. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis for our off-site catering events.

What you'll be doing

n

Preparing and cooking high-quality, creative dishes for corporate and private events

n

Be able to run an event i.e wedding, with help, but you would be in charge of the event, set up, serve, pack down.

n

Have a valid Australian driver license and be able to drive Ford Transit van

n

Working closely with the catering team to ensure seamless event execution

n

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

n

Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

n

Contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance our catering offerings

n

What we're looking for

n

Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef, preferably in an off-site catering or event-based role

n

Solid culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques

n





Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing requirements

n

Excellent time management and organizational skills

n

Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends as required
