The Opportunity
We are seeking two passionate and experienced Diploma-qualified educators to join our largest long day care and integrated kindergarten service in Keilor East, with one permanent full time position and one temporary full-time position available until May ****.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a well-established early years' service that provides education and care for children from infancy through to kindergarten.
As part of a collaborative team, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing through engaging play-based experiences, responsive interactions and strong partnerships with families.
Working alongside Early Childhood Teachers and fellow educators, you will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.
In this role, you will:
Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of engaging, play-based learning programs
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
Use intentional teaching strategies to support children's learning, development and wellbeing
Contribute to curriculum planning, documentation, assessment and reflective practice




Provide leadership and guidance within the learning environment and support best practice across the team
Work in accordance with the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and approved learning frameworks
Foster inclusive environments that promote children's sense of belonging, participation and confidence
Support high-quality education and care practices across the service
About You
Diploma of Children's Services (or equivalent) recognised by the Department of Education
Experience working within long day care or early childhood education settings
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and Child Safe Standards
Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships with children, families and colleagues
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and support educator practice
Strong communication, organisational and reflective practice skills
Passion for inclusive, child-centred and culturally responsive education
You will also hold:
Current Working with Children Check
First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management qualifications
Protecting Children: Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector training
National Child Safety Training (Modules 1 and 2)
