Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our retail team at Eltham Lotto. This is a part-time position based in Eltham, Victoria.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs and offering product recommendations
n
Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash and card payments
n
Maintain product displays and ensure the store is clean, well-organised and visually appealing
n
Answer customer enquiries about products and pricing and store policies
n
Handle customer complaints professionally and elevate issues to management when necessary
n
Support promotional activities and merchandise displays as directed by management
n
Comply with health, safety and security procedures at all times
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential for enthusiastic candidates
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers
n
A friendly, cheerful demeanour with a genuine desire to help customers
n
Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work part-time hours (Monday,



Friday and Saturdays) with no late night trading
n
Good numeracy skills and comfort using electronic point-of-sale systems
n
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry stock items, and perform repetitive tasks
n
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised store workplace
n
A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
