Design Quest Sydney Pty Ltd – Liverpool NSW

As a Residential Building Designer at Design Quest Sydney, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality residential design and documentation for projects across NSW.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Prepare architectural drawings and documentation using Revit.
n
Design and document custom homes, secondary dwellings, duplexes, renovations and additions.
n
Produce CDC and DA documentation in accordance with planning controls.
n
Amend drawings following client, consultant, certifier and council feedback.
n
Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, certifiers and other consultants.
n
Prepare project documentation, application forms and lodgement packages.
n
Assist with project coordination, document management and consultant follow-ups.
n
Communicate professionally with clients, consultants and approval authorities.
n
Ensure projects are completed accurately, on time and to a high standard.
n
Contribute to improving internal systems, drafting standards and project workflows.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
Minimum 3 years' experience in Australian residential building design.
n
Robust proficiency in Revit.
n
Sound understanding of CDC and DA processes.
n
Good knowledge of the NCC, BASIX and NSW residential planning requirements.
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
n
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the business.
