What you'll be doing
n
You'll play a key role in maintaining critical water and sewerage infrastructure, including:
n
n
Maintenance and repair of water pumps, sewerage pumps and sewerage treatment plants
n
Servicing and refurbishing pumps and associated mechanical equipment
n
Pump fault finding and troubleshooting
n
Undertaking electrical maintenance work (within the scope of your Restricted Electrical Work Licence)
n
Supervusing a nominated apprentice on a daily basis
n
Assisting with apprentice training and development
n
Participating in a rostered on-call rotation
n
Working safely while delivering high-quality workmanship
n

What we're looking for
n
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
n
n
Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner or Mechanical Fitter
n
Current Restricted Electrical Work Licence
n
Solid pump fault-finding and refurbishment experience
n
Ability to work independently and within a team
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Experience in water and sewerage maintenance (highly regarded)
n
Current manual C Class Driver's Licence (essential)
n
HR Driver's Licence (advantageous)
n
Construction Industry White Card
n
n
Before you start - Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment functional assessment to ensure they can safely perform the inherent requirements of the role.
