We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our fully accredited medical practice three to four (3-4) per week- with additional availability to assist with sick and annual leave coverage when required.

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team for 3-4 days a week and be available to cover sick and annual leave when required.
As a Registered Nurse at Singleton Heights Medical Practice, within our busy Treatment room you will be responsible for:
Administering medications, iron infusions, Aclasta Infusions.
Immunisations : NIP, Travel, Yellow fever, Covid
Assisting Gp's with minor skin procedures and dressings
Care of Pregnant patients both antenatal and post-natal care check ups
Performing medicals - Workplace, Insurance, Sporting
Perform ECG's, ABIM's, ABI's, Spirometry and pathology collection (blood collection not essential)
Assist with triage, data management, diagnostic services, networking with other providers, planning & management of patient care and patient advocacy.
Telephone patients with test results as directed by GP's
Perform chronic disease management, including monitoring patients with diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic conditions.
Mental Health Treatment plans preparation
Ensure sterilisation and maintenance of clinical equipment.
Maintain stocks of clinical supplies, including correct storage (such as refrigeration)
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with data collection for quality improvement initiatives.
Supporting GPs.
Collaborating with administration and management to ensure efficient clinic operations and delivery of high-quality patient care.
Act within the practice and nursing code of ethics & appropriate level of clinical competence at all times.
Maintain awareness of current evidence and research on clinical practices and inform/educate other practice staff.
Maintain Registration Education compliance as required by AHPRA.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with AHPRA.
Current Driver's License
Current Working with Children Certificate
Current CPR Certificate
Experience as a Practice Nurse, preferably in a primary care or general practice setting but not essential
Experience in general practice and with Best Practice software is advantage but not essential.
Understanding of Medicare billing processes and experience in care plan reviews, and health assessments.
