About the Role

n

We're seeking an experienced Pipelayer to join a busy civil construction team delivering subdivision, drainage, and utility infrastructure projects across Melbourne's northern suburbs.

n

Working alongside experienced operators and supervisors, you'll play a key role in installing underground services safely, accurately, and to specification.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Install stormwater, sewer, and water main pipelines to line, level, and project specifications.
n
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot pipe lasers for accurate grade and alignment.
n
Work safely alongside excavators, skid steers, and other heavy plant, directing excavation and lifting operations.
n
Install pits, manholes, bedding, backfill, and associated civil infrastructure.
n
Read construction plans and drawings, check levels,



and complete basic QA documentation.
n
Maintain a safe, clean worksite and comply with SWMS and site safety procedures.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

n

n
Proven experience as a pipelayer within civil construction.
n
Robust knowledge of stormwater, sewer, and water main installation.
n
Experience setting up and using pipe lasers.
n
Confidence working in and around trenches and heavy machinery.
n
A current White Card.
n
A valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
n
