The Role
This is a senior, high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in complex deal environments and takes genuine ownership of outcomes.
You will be a primary point of contact for new clients and selected high-value clients, responsible for structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions end-to-end — from strategy through to settlement.
You'll work on multiple live transactions simultaneously, with a strong focus on conversion, fee optimisation, credit quality, and client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Develop project finance strategies, feasibility models, cashflow forecasts and funding tables
Prepare lender credit submissions, client finance proposals, pitch materials and investment memorandums
Manage multiple applications per client across land, construction, senior and mezzanine debt
Negotiate lender pricing, terms and DFP fees to appropriate maximum levels
Ensure DFP fees are funded and paid at settlement
Manage conditions precedent through to financial close
Coordinate valuation processes (IRR, NPV,

pricing analysis)
Maintain accurate deal and client records in HubSpot / CRM
Build, manage and expand relationships with banks, non-banks, family offices and wholesale funders
Assist with capital raises and Information Memorandums where required
Provide guidance and on-the-job support to junior team members
What Success Looks Like
Consistent conversion of complex transactions
High-quality credit submissions that meet or exceed lender underwriting standards
Strong lender and client relationships
Achievement of fee targets (portfolio impact ~$2.5m p.a.)
Delighted clients who return and refer
About You
You are commercially sharp, highly organised, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
Essential experience:
3+ years' experience in property finance
Advanced understanding of property finance structuring and loan pricing
Strong capability in feasibility modelling and funding structures
Experience dealing with complex corporate and trust structures
Highly developed negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
Post-graduate qualification in finance, accounting, economics or similar
Experience across land and construction finance
Why Join DFP
Work on high-quality, complex property deals
Above market base salary and uncapped bonus plan
Direct exposure to Directors and senior decision-makers
Strong lender access and established brand credibility
Performance-driven, professional and cooperative culture
Chance to grow with a business that is scaling nationally
