Key Responsibilities

n

Manual Harvesting (Immediate Roles): Safely cut sugar cane by hand using traditional hand tools (machetes/cane knives).
n
Cleaning & Processing: Trim, and clean harvested cane to ensure it meets strict quality standards.
n
Bundling & Packaging: Accurately weigh and secure the processed cane into exact 10-kilogram bundles.
n
Loading & Logistics: Assist in moving, loading, and securely stacking the 10kg bundles into large transport boxes weighing up to 1,000kg.

Requirements & Capabilities

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform repetitive manual labour
n
Weather Resilience:



Comfortable working outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions, wet weather (within reason).
n
Attention to Detail: Ability to consistently bundle and tie cane accurately to the required 10kg specification.
n
Team Player: Solid, cooperative work ethic to work smoothly within a team .
