Job Description
The Complex Medical & Oncology Ward at Liverpool Hospital offers a multidisciplinary environment dedicated to delivering exceptional complex medical and oncology care.
You will work within a fast‐paced, dynamic multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity to develop broad clinical skills specific to complex medical and oncology.
Key Responsibilities
Provide acute care nursing with demonstrated experience in a complex medical and oncology setting.
Work a 24‐7 rotating roster, including weekend and night shifts.
Perform excellent clinical assessment, paying close attention to detail and responding effectively in a fast‐paced acute care setting.
Communicate effectively, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain teamwork and active listening skills.
Commit to continuous learning, career development and evidence‐informed practice.
Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications & Experience
Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Experience managing complex patients and ensuring safe, patient‐centred care,
including recognising and responding to deterioration.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patients with complex needs.
Strong communication, teamwork, and active listening skills.
Selection Criteria
Availability to work across a 24‐7 rotating roster (including weekend and night shifts).
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients and families.
Relevant experience in acute care nursing and complex medical/oncology settings.
Evidence of continuous learning and commitment to professional development.
