Data Test Analyst

A major Australian brand is rebuilding the data layer behind its platform and needs a tester who treats it as engineering work, not a box tick. You'll validate transformations across the warehouse, extend a live dbt test suite, and raise issues straight against the PR.

The role

Reconciliation SQL across warehouse layers
n
Build and extend dbt tests, including custom tests
n
Review PRs and raise issues at the point of change
n
Validate warehouse models for correct grain
n
n
Location - Melbourne / Hybrid
n
Rate - $800 - $900 p.d.
n
Duration - 3 month contract + extensions
n
What you'll bring
n
n
Robust SQL, BigQuery dialect
n
dbt fundamentals and dbt testing
n
Layered warehouse modelling experience
n
Insurance or claims data a bonus, not essential
