Multiple casual opportunities available working in both in-water and gym floor shifts

Availability on Mondays and Wednesdays ideal

$39.25 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) + Superannuation

About the role:
n
The Everybody Active (EBA) Program is dedicated to increasing access to physical activity by fostering inclusive settings where people of all abilities can participate fully. In this client-focused role, you'll provide tailored physical and emotional support to help individuals thrive.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
Supporting clients in accessing and using our facilities including the Health Club, Group Fitness classes and Aquatics/Hydrotherapy areas
n
Assisting with mobility and transfers
n
Performing safe and effective manual handling techniques
n
Encouragement,
emotional support and connection between Support Officer and client
n
Providing personal care (as required and agreed upon prior)
n
Training will be provided for these duties.
n
About you:
n
To be successful in this role you will have;
n
Proven leadership experience and a track record of achieving results in the leisure industry, along with relevant tertiary qualifications
n
Robust communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with people of all abilities
n
Ability to work collaboratively in a team that champions inclusivity and diversity
n
Willingness to be versatile and adapt to the evolving needs of EBA clients and the program
n
Qualifications and Experience
n
Level 2 First Aid with CPR (or be willing to obtain)
n
Manual Handling Training (or be willing to obtain)
n
Working with Children's Check (or be willing to obtain)
n
NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or be willing to obtain)
n
Current Driver's license (desirable)
