Are you a Surveyor with great all-round skills, passion for the surveying industry and after a lifestyle change?

Masters Surveyingin Central Queensland are currently looking for Surveyors to join them who can work independently in engineering & construction at a variety of sites. We are proposing Back-to-Back FIFO/DIDO roster options on a 2: 1 or 2:2 basis to work on various project sites throughout Central, Western and North Queensland. If you like autonomy, the outdoors and variety than this role is for you.

You will be primarily responsible forconducting field survey tasks, as well as undertaking the related office calculations and drafting,ensuring project deliverables, timeframes and budgets are met for a variety of clients at a variety of sites.
n
You will be responsible for (but will not be limited to):
n
n
Day to day surveying and communication with clients, ensuring their requirements are met
n
Establishing and maintaining accurate Survey Control
n
Undertakingcalculations,
field pick up and data reduction
n
Maintenance and servicing of survey equipment and vehicles
n
Assisting with preparation of quotations as required
n
Communicating to clients and your team
n
Perform field survey tasks under instruction from a Survey Manager
n
Construction setout calculations within 12dModel desktop software
n
Processing of raw field data and production of final deliverables
n
Interpret plans and data
n
n
Your Skills and Experience will include:
n
n
Full Australian Working Rights (no non-residents)
n
At least 3 years' surveying experience
n




Intermediate to advanced operating knowledge of 12d Model desktop software
n
AutoCAD experience drafting plans well regarded
n
Completed degree or advanced diploma of Surveying
n
Registration with SBQ (or ability to gain registration)
n
Experience in construction and engineering surveying
n
Experience with Leica gear and any software provide drawing, x section, volumes, etc. to clients
n
Excellent communication skills, particularly with site personnel, Project Managers and team mates
n
Highly proficient field and office work
n
