About the roleWe're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant or emerging Assistant Manager to join our growing Mareeba office. This is an opportunity to step into a client-facing role with real autonomy, working closely with business clients across a broad range of industries.

You'll manage your own portfolio, provide advisory support, and play a key role in mentoring junior staff, with a clear pathway into management.

What you'll be doing
n
Managing a portfolio of business services clients
n
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns
n
Providing tax planning and business advisory services
n
Building strong client relationships
n
Assisting with workflow management and mentoring junior team members
n
Be the Face of the company and help grow the client base within the community
n
About you
n
4+ years' experience in public practice (business services/tax)
n
CA, IPA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
n
Ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines
n
Experience reviewing work and mentoring staff (preferred)
n
