HSB Resources is currently seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join a major construction project for a minimum three-month engagement.

n

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with project delivery teams across both day and night shift operations, ensuring safe execution of works while fostering a positive safety culture on site.

n

We are looking for a hands‐on safety skilled who enjoys being in the field, building relationships with frontline personnel, and driving proactive safety outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

n

Provide day-to-day HSE support to project teams
n
Conduct field inspections and workplace observations
n
Facilitate pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety meetings
n
Assist with incident investigations and corrective actionsn

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

n n




Previous experience as a Safety Advisor within construction, civil, infrastructure, mining, utilities or renewable energy projects
n
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum)
n
Solid working knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation
n
Experience conducting investigations and risk assessments
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
Ability to build trust with supervisors, subcontractors and project personnel
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Construction White Card
n
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
Diploma in WHS
n
ICAM Lead Investigator
n
Cert IV Training & Assessment
n
Experience on major infrastructure or energy projects
n
Rail, renewable energy, transmission line or substation experience
n
