Job Description
Chandler Macleod is seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI & Data Reporting Officer to join a Federal Government team based in Canberra (Fairbairn) on a 12-month contract.

This role sits within a dynamic section responsible for driving business improvement, data-driven decision making, and creative solutions across a complex regulatory environment. You will play a key role in supporting reporting capabilities, enhancing data quality, and enabling stakeholders to make informed operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities
n

Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of reporting solutions using Power BI.
n
Contribute to ongoing improvements in the collection, management, and quality of operational data.
n
Provide training, guidance, and support to internal stakeholders on reporting tools and data processes.
n
Assist with data analysis and reporting activities to support business objectives and performance monitoring.
n
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process and reporting improvements.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Experience and understanding of data modelling within Power BI.
n
Previous experience working with data, reporting, or business intelligence solutions.
n




Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
The ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders and translate business requirements into reporting solutions.

A proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation.
