About the Position
n
An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Corporate/M&A; practice as part of the team's continued growth.
n
Working directly with leading partners, you will play a key role on high-value M&A; transactions. You will be given meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to take a lead role on transactions.
n
This position is ideally suited to a Senior Associate seeking more visibility, greater responsibility, and a clearer pathway to partnership than may be available in a larger team structure.

About You
n
You will be a high-performing Corporate lawyer who enjoys working on sophisticated transactions and is looking to accelerate your career within a premier practice.

Duties
n
In the role, you will:
n
n
Advise on M&A; transactions
n
Assist with transaction structuring and negotiations
n
Draft and negotiate key transaction documents
n
Manage client relationships and work directly with key stakeholders
n
Mentor and develop junior lawyers within the team
n
Support business development and profile-building initiatives
n
n
Qualifications
n
We are seeking someone with:
n
n
Approximately 5-9 years' PAE in Corporate/M&A;
n
Experience gained within a recognised corporate transactions practice
n
Exposure to mergers and acquisitions and general corporate advisory matters
n
Strong knowledge of the Corporations Act
n
Strong academics and technical legal ability
