Senior Legal Assistant - Family Law - Hybrid Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Family Law Legal Assistant to join a well-established Melbourne CBD law firm.

n

making it a rare opportunity to step into a secure and respected team.

Working alongside an experienced Family Law team, you will provide high-level support across a broad range of complex family law matters, including high-net-worth property settlements, parenting matters, financial agreements, maintenance issues, divorce and child support.

n

The Role You will play a key role supporting the wider Family Law team, with responsibilities include:

n

Preparing correspondence, Court documents and briefs to Counsel
n
Diary and calendar management
n
Preparing and filing Court documents
n
Trial preparation and brief management
n
Liaising with clients, Barristers and other external parties
n
Maintaining electronic files and document management
n
Billing and general practice administration
n
Providing high-level support across a busy Family Law practice
n

About You To be successful in this position, you will have:

n

n
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Family Law Legal Assistant
n
Solid experience supporting complex Family Law matters
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills
n
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
n
High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
A proactive, professional and team-focused approach
n
