Macs Engineering are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Sheetmetal Worker to join their team in Mackay QLD. The successful applicants will need to possess and undertake:
n
n
Have a willingness to work with strong attention to detail
n
Be punctual and responsible
n
Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding
n
Ability to read and interpret drawings to fine specifications
n
Experience in handling a range of materials, including difficult materials
n
Experience with materials such as steel, aluminium & polymer
n
Cutting material, weld prep, grinding
n
Adherence to WHS
n
Select types of sheetmetal according to building or design plans
n
Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets
n
Duct fabrication in some roles
n
Install metal sheets with supportive frameworks




n
Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites
n
Manoeuvre and anchor large sheet metal parts
n
n
Skills & Attributes:
n
n
At least 3 years' experience in steel/aluminium sheetmetal and/or duct fabrication
n
Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) or equivalent
n
Ability to work in a team workplace
n
n
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Applications open on 27th July **** and closes on 27th August ****.
