About this Position:
The Executive Assistant provides the Mayor and councillors with high quality, accurate, timely and qualified executive support and ensure effective communication, administration and coordination with Council Executives, leaders and staff across directorates.
In this role you will use independent judgment and considerable initiative to provide a wide range of administrative support to the Mayor and Councillors including correspondence, briefings, diary management and stakeholder engagement.

What we trust you to deliver:
A comprehensive range of confidential, high‐quality administrative and executive support services to the Mayor and Councillors
Manage the Mayor's office and maintain professional and timely communication and correspondence to internal and external stakeholders
Liaise and build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective coordination and information flow.
Uphold probity, confidentiality and anti‐corruption practices in all dealings.
What you will need to be successful:
Qualifications in business administration or extensive experience in an executive administration role within local government or the public sector.
Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Advanced written communication and document preparation capabilities.
High IT literacy,
including proficiency in Office 365.
Highly developed written communication skills, with experience preparing complex reports, correspondence and corporate documents.
A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach to managing competing priorities.
Full Time/Part Time/Term Contract etc:
Permanent Full Time - 70 hours a fortnight
Salary:
A salary range from $1,****** - $2,****** per week + superannuation
