We area team of construction experts in creating performance-based solutions for both Residential and Commercial Buildings based in Beaconsfield Victoria. We are experts in unique situations where standard 'deemed to satisfy' approaches fall short or when a project requires deviation from conventional standards. Our mission is to provide creative solutions that meet the requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC) for both residential and commercial buildings.

About the Role
n
As a Building Code Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Assessing project requirements to deliver a pathway for compliance by providing a customised performance-based solution to meet the specific needs of each project.
n
Preparation of performance solution reports for all building solution requirements
n
n
n
Managing projects and clients, including providing compliance advice
n
Collaborating with various stakeholders, including
architects/designers,
builders, project managers, and government authorities, to achieve project goals.
n
Managing workflow and timeframe expectations
n




Delivering client-focused service with clear, accurate, and consistent advice.
n
n
n
Proactively engaging with project teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
To excel in this role, you should have:
n
n
Prior experience required, a background in the building & construction industry is a must.
n
n
n
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively under pressure.
n
n
n
Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the acts/regulations and Building Codes of Australia
n
n
n
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
n
n
n
A positive attitude and a willingness to be an integral part of the PSA team at our Beaconsfield office.
n
n
n
Maintain a full understanding and appreciation of client and stakeholder
servicerequirements
and ensure that the company meets and exceeds those requirements
n
n
n
Participate in continuous improvement activities and actively look for opportunities to improve company processes
n
n
n
Share ideas, knowledge and information freely
