Job Description

We seek an experienced Cook or Chef to provide a high standard of food service & customer satisfaction. You will need to be well organized and have the ability to work autonomously. This role is a casual one, with the potential for growth and the prospect to become permanent part time.

Shifts between 7.30am - 5:30pm

n

Minimum 2 years kitchen food production experience

n

Demonstrated experience of success in food preparation & customer satisfaction

n

Sound leadership capabilities with a proven experience working in a team workplace and building respect amongst staff at all levels

n

Work to standard recipes with sound knowledge of specific diets & food allergies

n

Positive communication and written skills

n

Certificate 3 in commercial cookery and/or Trade Certificate

n

Sound knowledge of HACCP & NSW Food authority guidelines

n

A high level of personal maturity and strength of character to successfully grow within a dynamic organisation.

n

Ability to take directions from Head Chef and work unsupervised

n

Ability to direct the kitchen team throughout the day
