Our aim is to work collaboratively with stakeholder groups to strengthen partnerships between industry and education, to increase knowledge and opportunities for careers and further education for youth.

The Role
n
The role encompasses case management, working directly with youth aged ***** years of age, strengthening engagement within the community, and undertaking administration tasks as well as assisting with Industry engagement.
n
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has proven experience working with young people, to provide one-on-one mentoring and pre-employment support.
n
Duty statements:

Sourcing and attending to referrals against KPI's
n
Managing administrative tasks throughout the intake process
n
Development of career and transition plan
n
Assisting and supporting development of the young person's individual goals
n
Brokering work experience, training, or employment opportunities
n
Provide access to complimentary services and post placement supports
n




Attend provider and network meetings to gain knowledge of program supports and promote and advocate for young people in which you work with.
n
Travel and connect face-to-face with young people and communities.
n

Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
n
The ability to work autonomously and contribute to strategies for program success
n
The ability to be innovative and drive results to achieve outcomes in a challenging environment,

Exceptional administration and computer skills, with proven experience in Microsoft office applications
n
Advanced customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with young people, staff, and community.
n
An understanding of the barriers young people may face in successfully achieving education, training, or employment outcomes.

Terms and Conditions
n
This is a salaried position including car allowance allocation aligned to the Labour Market Assistance Industry Award ****. Extra benefits include Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Christmas / New Year shut down.
n
Office location is based in Narrabri and involves regular travel. Ongoing employment will be subject to satisfactory performance, business demand and ongoing funding.
n
Minimum unrestricted Class C Drivers Licence, National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
n
Access to a comprehensively insured and well-maintained motor vehicle for work purposes.
