Job Description
Clinical Manager – Blue Care – Caloundra Aged Care Facility

Employment Term: Permanent Full Time
n Location: Caloundra Aged Care Facility
n Remuneration: $***** – $***** per hour (dependent on experience) + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Responsibilities
n
n
Provide day-to-day clinical leadership, ensuring care delivery aligns with best practice, legislation and quality standards.
n
Lead, coach and mentor clinical and care teams, creating a capable, confident and high‐performing workforce.
n
Act as the escalation point for complex clinical issues, applying strong judgement and evidence‐based decision‐making.
n
Oversee comprehensive clinical assessments and care planning, ensuring care is responsive to individual needs and goals.
n
Drive clinical governance and risk management, including proactive management of key risks such as falls, wounds and infection control.
n
Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with internal processes, audits and regulatory requirements.
n
Foster a strong culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance care quality and service delivery.
n
Build strong relationships with residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals to support coordinated, holistic care.
n
Partner with the Residential Services Manager to ensure clinical governance, AN‐ACC funding integrity and sustainable service outcomes.
n

Qualifications
n
n
Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements.
n
Extensive experience as a Registered Nurse, ideally within aged care.
n
Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams.
n
Strong clinical assessment, decision‐making and problem‐solving skills.
n
Experience in clinical governance, quality standards and compliance frameworks.
n
Knowledge of aged care funding models (AN‐ACC) and regulatory requirements.
n
Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Postgraduate qualifications in aged care, clinical leadership or a related specialty (desirable).
n
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
n
Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
n

Salary packaging for everyday living expenses and bills (up to $15,900) and meal entertainment (up to $2,650) per annum, plus super.
